Lake Tahoe

On Monday morning we headed up to lake Tahoe with some friends. It took 8 hours drive (not including stops). On the way we left CA, entered NV and then returned back to CA again. Where we stayed was 2 minutes from the stateline. We arrived at the hotel in the evening. We unpacked, ate dinner then went for a swim in the pool, then watched movies and chilled out for the night. The next morning we got up and headed to Lake Tahoe. Round hill pines, NV. We swam in the lake and caught Craw dads (crayfish) all day. Unfortunately I got stung by a wasp. Then we went home and ate the craw dads for dinner. Later, Natasha and I went to the spa pool.  On wednesday we went on a 2 and a half hour drive around the lake. We stopped in Sand Harbour for  a swim. We ate dinner, went swimming and roasted marshmallows that night. On thursday most of the adults went shopping so the rest of us watched TV and went to the gift shop. When the adults came back we went to Taylor creek and a area of the lake by Taylor creek. One of my friends saw a snake there! When we returned, we went swimming, had freshly caught fish for dinner and roasted marshmallows. That night was out kid night where we had an all nighter and a midnight feast! On friday we packed up, checked out and made our way home. Our holiday was so much fun! 

Magic Mountain

Yesterday we took Caleb and Erin to Magic Mountain because since we are season pass holders. we can take free friends. We rode Ninja, Colossus, Scream, Goliath, Batman, Riddler's Revenge, Gold Rusher, Superman, Roaring rapids, Tatsu and a few others.

Six flags

On Friday I went to six flags with my sister and a few friends. We rode tatsu, apocalypse, jet stream, batman, buccaneer ship and the special swings. All in that order. Afterwards, we got Wendy's for a very late lunch (3:00 ish)

Fun weekend!

After getting back from six flags that day, we went to my cousins for a sleepover. That night we watched a really great movie. In the morning, I went to a pancake breakfast with the exchange students. There was line dancing and everything. But I didn't participate. After that, I went back to my cousins house and we had donuts. We went to the mall and bought another build-a-bear each plus other stuff. We spent the whole day there. Then we went swimming at a friends pool and picked up a pizza on the way there!

Malibu beach

Today we took the bus to Malibu with a program that has host families take in foreign exchange students for a few weeks. The bus ride was 1 and a half hours each way but everyone had a fun time at the beach. On the way home we ate jolly ranchers, tootsie roll pops and blow pops.

LA Dodgers VS NY Mets

This evening we went to an LA Dodgers VS NY Mets game. The  Mets bet the Dodgers 5 - nil.
It was such a fun night!

Hurricane Harbor

Today we went to hurricane harbor. It is the water park right by Magic Mountain. It's fun to take the lazy river in between rides - it can take you anywhere from one end of the park to the other. It has a strong current, and we missed our turn once so we struggled against the current. We finally made it. One of the best rides was daredevil plunge where it just drops you. There is also a wave pool that has awesome waves!

Six Flags Magic Mountain

We bought season passes to six flags, so we went on saturday. This was my 3rd time at the park. Some friends who also have season passes came with us. We were there from about 11 a.m. to about 8 p.m at night. I finally rode the 2nd most intense rollercoaster in the world, x2. It turned out to be so much fun!

Ventura Beach

Today, we went to Ventura beach. We went surfing and played in the water. The waves were so fun, and the tide was slowly coming in. We went with a group of people from our church. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos.

Bear!

Some of you know that last November we bought a baby hamster. We named her bear.

Yesterday I made 12 cupcakes. I iced and decorated them. This is what they all looked like

San Francisco

Yesterday, we got back from San francisco. we were there from monday to Friday. It was alot colder up there.

Porto's Bakery

On wednesday we went to Porto's Bakery. We tried the little mince pies. They were nice, but not as great as new zealand meat pies. I also had a raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake.

Newport Beach

Yesterday, we took a day trip to Newport Beach, as my dad wanted to catch up with a friend and his daughter. We had a such a great day, and we were sad to go home.

The Avengers!

Today we saw the Avengers with some friends, and then we went to Baja Fresh for lunch! The movie was very good, everyone was raving about it afterwards.
